The Artisan Research Carbon Fiber Splitter is designed to provide a dramatic increase in front downforce. This splitter is composed of six different types of Aerospace grade composites resulting in the strongest and lightest assembly possible. This splitter has a second layer of Nomex honeycomb shaped to the profile of our Carbon Fiber Air Dam allowing for the most aerodynamic fit possible. Where many other Splitters fall short, our Splitter package includes a secondary panel that extends back to the centerline of the front axle on all of our Splitter packages helping maximize the performance of the entire assembly.
We offer three different variations of our E46 Carbon Splitter to help you select which is best for your application. Please familiarize yourself with the Series rules you are trying to abide by to ensure you order the correct variation.
Splitter Variations:
($1499.99) Clubsport Splitter - The Clubsport Splitter is designed to follow rules where the splitter cannot be wider than the chassis and protrudes 3” forward of the front bumper. The Clubsport splitter is 70” wide and 36” deep reaching the centerline of the front axle. Carbon fiber Tunnels, Combination Dive Plan/Endplates, and Titanium scuff plates may be added.
($1899.99) Enduro Splitter- The Enduro Splitter is more aggressive than the Clubsport with 5” protruding forward of the front bumper, but still comes in at 70” wide to allow for close wheel-to-wheel racing without the constant risk of contact. The Enduro Splitter is 38” deep and reaches the centerline of the front axle. Carbon fiber Tunnels, Combination Dive Plan/Endplates, and Titanium scuff plates may be added.
($2999.99) Time-Attack Splitter- The Time attack Splitter is our most aggressive splitter with 6” protruding forward of the front bumper, and 75” width to offer the maximum amount of front downforce possible. The Time Attack Splitter is 39” deep and reaches the centerline of the front axle and includes Carbon fiber Tunnels, Combination Dive Plan/Endplates, and Titanium Sliders.
Splitter Upgrades
($449) Carbon Fiber Tunnels- These 12” x 6” Carbon fiber tunnels will increase the overall front downforce of your car by creating a low pressure area allowing your Splitter to process more air. Adding tunnels to your splitter does remove a fair amount of structure from the Splitter itself sowe have increased the amount of Carbon fiber in those areas to help sustain structural rigidity. Price includes Splitter modifications and Tunnel installation.
($449) Carbon Fiber Dive Plane & End Plate Combo- Adding these combination Dive Plane/End PLates to your splitter assembly will help extract maximum downforce from the front end of your car. The curved surface of the dive plan adjoined to the Endplate will help capture as much air as possible increasing the amount of the pressure applied to your Splitter. Inspired by F1 “Infinity wing” technology, these components are placed 1” above the surface of the splitter to help minimize drag. The splitter is reinforced in this area to help support additional force and includes pre-installed mounting points and all necessary hardware.
($250) Titanium Sliders- Titanium sliders can be added to protect the underside of the Splitter from curbing and the track surface through corners and under braking. Price includes reinforcement of Splitter in mounting area, hardware and installation.
